Camella has had a four-part celebration of National Camella Day this month of August. The celebration was kicked off in North Luzon, particularly in Bataan, next was in Davao, followed in Iloilo and was concluded in Cavite. The celebration in Cavite was the most extravagant (Yet) National Camella Day experience. There were indoor and outdoor set-ups.

The celebration commenced with a grand motorcade, followed by a Thanksgiving Mass indoors, and ribbon-cutting ceremony by no less than the big boss himself, former Senator Manny Villar. He roamed around the outdoor booths and had a photo op. People were stunned by his presence.

After the event outdoors, come the indoor activities. The amazing young singer, Esang, left everyone in awe with a spectacular performance. Subsequently, we enjoyed a magic show with lots of tricks and funny moments. The show was specifically for the kids from different foundations Camella had that day. Camella really made them so happy. I saw how genuine the smiles on these kids’ faces are and it made me super happy, too. They were also given gifts and lunch meals. Camella definitely went an extra mile with their corporate social responsibility.

Next up was NCD dance battle. Several groups competed for cash prizes and trophies, and of course, to be hailed as the NCD dance battle champions. Dauntless Republic from Pilipinas Got Talent had an act to open the dance battle.

After all of the performances, Camella had three HUGE surprise prizes for applicants who submitted their resumes on that day for the mini job fair. Three winners were called, however, none of them were present at the moment, so there had to be something to have winners – a dance showdown! I volunteered my sister to the game and she was one of the winners. Whoa! Three winners won 5k worth of groceries each.

ABS-CBN’s Boyband PH also graced the audience with a mini concert. Their fans kept on cheering all throughout their presentation.

And of course, what’s a party without food? Camella food fest has had a lot of food concessionaires. Baga Manila, Baskin Robbins, shawarma, burgers, nachos, fries, shakes, juices, cakes and a lot more! There was a free photobooth as well.

Other properties of former Senator Manny Villar also have had booths on that day including All Home furniture, All Bank where you can open an account on the spot (I should have if I were not too busy taking photos hehe), and Camella CoHo (Condo Homes) to name a few.

During the night, there was a fun run, an amazing one – Blacklight Manila. Before the run, the runners gathered at the assembly area where they had a bit of a party to get their adrenaline pumping before the run.

After the blacklight run, rave party followed and a fireworks show – now, that’s the way to end the day night.

No better way to celebrate National Camella day, right? Oh, have you watched their inspiring digi-series yet? You can watch it on their Facebook page – Camella (Official). It shows us that we’ll do everything for our dreams. And Camella, for forty years, has been providing us quality yet consumer reach homes. Helping us turn our dreams into reality.

To top it all of, Camella presents the new Lessandra homes, a more affordable home series. Their tagline goes “Bagong bahay, bagong buhay”. Seriously, our homes are our refuge, our shelter, our mood depends on it, and it is where our family is. A house is not home if there’s no happy family in there, if there’s no happiness. Home has a different meaning, and it’s what Camella’s objectives lie on – to make us happy and safe, give us a quality way of life, and give us “home”
