Lily’s Peanut Butter party and plant tour

I’ve always loved the creamy and smooth texture of Lily’s Peanut Butter. One thing that I won’t forget during my childhood days was spreading Lily’s to my sandwich and tossing it to the oven toaster for a minute to get that warm and oozing peanut butter sandwich!

Come the time that I got pregnant, I craved for my classic favorite – Lily’s peanut butter.

Lucky us, we were able to visit Lily’s plant last Saturday, July 20, 2019. We had the privilege of joining a number of exclusively invited guests to Lily’s party and tour in their plant.

The invited guests are winners from Lily’s school tour contest. The contest was entitled “Mom & Kid health ambassador” conducted from late 2018 to early 2019.

These kids are from: Don Bosco Catholic School, Paco Elementary School, PCU-Union Elementary
School and Maranatha Christian Academy. Each of them won cash, products and a visit to Lily’s production plant. Whoa! Very lucky kids!

The kids definitely had a lot of fun and gained a lot of new knowledge. First off, the party’s theme was Lily’s Wonderland. There was candy buffet, magic show and games.

We learned a lot of things about making peanut butter as well. It all starts with a good peanut. We were taught how to identify the bad peanuts and the good ones. Of course, Lily’s peanut butter is made from good peanuts, selected premium peanuts for that matter. 100% natural ingredients – including the added sugar and iodizes salt – and free from chemicals, emulsifiers and stabilizers. The aforementioned is exact reason why you can see the oil pooling on top of a newly-opened Lily’s jar.

Peanut butter is not just for snacks or to satisfy your cravings, but in fact, it is a healthy food for the family be it at home or for pang-baon because it is fairly rich in vitamins and minerals, and that includes the ones that help keep memory sharp. Do you ever remember our parents telling us to eat peanuts while reviewing for upcoming exams? That is not a myth, it is actually true. Peanut butter also contains protein, dietary fiber, potassium, iron, and vitamin E.

The peanut fairies that my kid really loved! From left to right: Coco Jam Jam (Coco Jam), Choco Martin (Choco peanut butter) Lite Delight (Lite peanut butter), Crunchy Cutey (Crunchy peanut butter), Classic Funtastic (Classic peanut butter)

For the past 65 years, Lily’s make sure that they make only the finest, freshest, creamiest peanut butter. To date, they have got 5 variants, the classic peanut butter (my personal favorite hehe), Crunchy peanut butter, Lite peanut butter, Choco and Coco jam.
