Admit it, city life can often times be stressful. In the middle of the day, you can catch yourself daydreaming of a vacation and having some time to unwind.

Where could the perfect place be to escape the hustle and bustle of the city that’s not in the Metro yet not too far? None other than Tagaytay.

We were looking for a place to stay in Tagaytay that has the countryside feel but still has the facilities of a luxury hotel. Gladly, we found Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay.

Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay has been awarded TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence for three consecutive years, 2015, 2016 and 2017.

The hotel’s facade

Your worries and stress simply melt away the moment you step inside
It’s literally impossible for somebody not to feel the cool and relaxing ambiance with these interiors
From associates to managers, all are friendly. The night manager even presses the elevator’s button for us.

Rooms have their own air-conditioning units, but you really won’t be needing them. You can simply open the sliding door to the veranda and let the cool air of Tagaytay in your hotel room.
I dare you to lay down on that bed and not doze off hehe. I dared my husband. And guess what, well, he lost. He fell asleep in a matter of minutes haha

Of course, we asked for a cot for Olivia from the Front Desk and she happily played on it.
We’ve got a spacious bathroom
With bathtub 🙂

After having a quick rest, we went down to have our complimentary sago from Cafe K.

The sago is very invigorating

Afterwards, we toured the hotel. There are several sections and facilities of the hotel that guests can explore (and they’re definitely instagrammable) aside from the farm.

To relax those achy muscles from the city’s stress, you can have a dip in their pools

Look at me. I am daydreaming! haha. I was dreaming of staying here forever
And so is Daddy Diaries

Okay. You can catch me sitting so relaxed everywhere
Game room with billiards, table tennis, darts, air hockey and gym equipment.

Hotel Kimberly is only not for vacationers. It’s also a great place for weddings, meetings, conventions and team buildings.

In fact, there was a convention during our stay. The hotel was fully booked, glad, we were booked early.

They have a number of function rooms and the biggest one can hold up to 600 pax.

The whole property boasts up to 2 hectares, so you can just imagine how huge the whole area is. Guests can stroll around and enjoy the scenic view, breathe in some fresh air and just have a nature trip.

Having a nature trip is both good for kids and adults. Kids get to learn more about nature, and both the kids and adults get to appreciate how beautiful and wonderful our world is.

You can see green everywhere which is so relaxing and gives you the countryside vibe.

It feels like you are very far from the Metro, but in fact, you are just minutes away.

There are these courses that are perfect for team building or simply to work those muscles out.
Play ground for the kids

This is actually our (most) favorite part.

There are a lot of animals, plants and trees to see at the farm. Guests may feed the animals and have a horse back ride, too.

Plants are carefully grown there. There’s guyabano, atis and a lot more.
Olivia wanted to touch the horses and she kept on saying “neigh-neigh”
Just look at her amazement with the bunnies

Sir Nelle happily entertained Olivia with the bunnies. Look at my girl, she’s talking with it hehe
Chickens and the beautiful peacock

And of course, what’s a vacation without yummy food? We had our breakfast at Cafe K and it sure is the perfect way to start somebody’s day in a paradise.

They have cereals, bread, rice, breakfast entrees and a lot more.
Tagaytay Sorbetes! The best sorbetes I have ever tasted. I really do not mind if it’s already cold, I would still eat those sorbetes.

I would rate our overall experience at Hotel Kimberly Tagaytay a 10 out of 10. They’ve got the complete package – hotel, pool, game room, a large play ground, park and farm. These are the points that set Hotel Kimberly apart. No wonder they have been awarded by TripAdvisor for three consecutive years.

The perfect place where you can unwind and forget all the worries. Cool weather, clean air, no air pollution, no noise pollution, just pure relaxation.

Just more than an hour drive and you’ll get to this hidden gem in Tagaytay.
