Stress affects all of us – men, women, adults, elderly, teenager, kids and even babies. There are a lot of factors that can make one stressed out and it can get the best of us if not dealt with properly – it can affect our health, our career, our social life and our family. If stress is not handled well, its negative impact in our lives may cause a domino effect and everything else will just fall apart.
For instance, a baby keeps on crying, he will be then stressed out and it will have a negative impact on his brain and his overall health may be compromised and the result is irreversible. Ergo, as parents, our role in their lives is to keep them from being stressed, understand and give them their needs.
I, personally, won’t be able to function properly once I am stressed out but I figured out how to deal with it because of my husband. He does not know how to handle stress well. He is like a kid who needs his mom to help him cope with the stress. It was when I started looking for ways to deal with it.
Here’s my hack:
First: Breather. The mind has to be relaxed first even just for a few minutes. Go to somewhere that will make you calm or do something that will make you feel relaxed, or if applies, do nothing.
Second: Whatever is the cause of stress, know that it has happened already, the next thing is to find a solution to relieve it.
Third: Believe that everything happens for a reason. Have faith in God and trust that He does everything according to His plan.
These are my steps/hacks in life without stress. We cannot let stress beat us, but instead, we shall conquer it and make the best of our lives.
